Privacy Policy
48 Hour Plan prepares business-plan and pitch-deck documents. To do that we need some of your information, and you deserve to know exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do with it. This page is written to be read, not skimmed past.
The short version: we collect what you give us in the order intake, use it only to prepare and deliver your documents and to run our advertising measurement, share it only with the service providers that make the product work (hosting, payments, email, AI drafting tools), and never sell it or turn it into marketing material. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Who we are
48 Hour Plan (48hourplan.com) is an independent, U.S.-based document-preparation service ("we", "us"). Contact: 48hourplans@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Order intake. Your name, email address, and the answers to our intake questions — business description, rough financials, funding purpose and amount, competitors, deadline, and similar. This is the raw material of your documents.
- Materials you send us. Any draft documents, outlines, or files you provide for us to work from, and anything you send by email.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, the amount, and a payment reference — your full card number never touches our systems.
- Technical basics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps). The Google advertising tag described below may set cookies in your browser. We do not run analytics trackers beyond what is described on this page.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your documents. Your intake answers and materials are processed through the AI drafting systems we use to produce your deliverables, then reviewed before delivery. We do not permit your content to be used for anything other than producing your documents — not for training, not for other customers, not for anything else.
- To communicate with you about your order, revisions, and support questions.
- To process payments and refunds through Stripe.
- To measure our advertising (details in the next section).
What we never do: we do not sell your personal information. We do not use your business idea, your numbers, or your documents as marketing material or testimonials. The samples on this site are fictional demonstrations, never client work.
Advertising measurement (Google tag)
We advertise on Google. Here is precisely what this site does today:
- Our pages load the Google tag (gtag.js). Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers to connect your visit to an ad click.
- On our order-confirmation page only (the page you land on after completing an intake or a payment), we send Google a conversion event. For a completed intake that event carries no value. For a completed payment it carries the amount of the order, the currency, and the Stripe checkout reference for that transaction, which we use to avoid counting the same order twice.
- We do not send Google your name, your email address, your phone number, or anything you wrote in your intake — not in plain text, not hashed. Enhanced conversions are switched off. The only thing stored in your browser by this measurement is a short marker that stops one order being counted twice if you refresh the page.
- If we ever start sending more than this, we will describe exactly what is sent here, with a new effective date, before it goes live.
Your choices: you can block or clear cookies in your browser, and you can control how Google personalizes and measures ads at myadcenter.google.com. Blocking these tools does not affect your order in any way.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that make the product work, and only what each needs:
- Netlify — website hosting and the order-intake form.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google — our support email runs on Gmail, and the ad measurement described above.
- AI processing providers — your intake content and materials are processed to produce your documents, under commercial terms, and we do not permit any other use.
Beyond that, we disclose information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, correspondence, and delivered documents for as long as we need them to provide the service (including your revision window) and to meet ordinary accounting and legal obligations. After your order is complete, you can ask us to delete your intake content, your materials, and our working files, and we will.
Your rights
Email us and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — whoever you are and wherever you live. We respond within 30 days, usually much faster.
Children
This service is for business owners and founders. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version appears here with a new effective date. We will not quietly weaken it; material changes will be flagged at the top of this page.
